Welcome to the Kennesaw Square Dealers website. This site is dedicated to
promote Square Dancing in the North Atlanta Metro Area and to provide our club
members, students and visitors with current information on our activities. The Kennesaw Square
Dealers welcome all dancers and visitors to our dances.

"Our Location" menu link on the left. We are a proud member club of the Metro Atlanta Square Dance Association (MASDA) and the Georgia State Square Dance Association (GSSDA).

About Square Dancing
Square dancing brings people together for fun and fellowship. Square dancing is
movement to music. It is done in couples, with teams of four couples. Learning
the basic steps is very easy.
Modern square dancing has an American family heritage. The ancestors of this
dance came to America with the earliest settlers. Over the centuries it has
changed into what we know today as modern square dancing. Please visit our "Square
Dance Information" page to learn about the history of Square Dancing.
Modern square dancing provides mental and physical stimulation. It is dancing,
thinking and teamwork. Moving in rhythm to the music keeps you
healthy. Reacting quickly to the square dance caller's
calls keeps you mentally on your toes.
